Kamala has good intentions for the country meanwhile, Trump does not.
Here are five supporting reasons why she makes the better candidate out of the two:
- First of all, she actually believes in climate change and has a plan ready to go if she gets elected as the new president. Kamala believes in investing in clean-energy initiatives and has been a proponent of tax credits for electric vehicles. In the other corner of the stage, Trump refuses to believe that there is such a thing as climate change and has not acknowledged its existence despite recent extreme weather such as hurricanes and wildfires. It will only get worse if he gets reelected as president.
- If Kamala Harris gets elected as president, it will make history because she would be the first female president ever in the history of the U.S. She would understand people like me, a woman, and what women’s needs are better than Trump. Harris is a person of color and has a better understanding of issues people of color face, and the issues immigrants face, as her mother was an immigrant from India, and her father from Jamaica. Trump, however, has succeeded in making women’s rights feel slimmer and less important than men’s rights. He has been accused of sexual assault by several women. The most important thing to remember is that he took away women’s reproductive rights. Under his presidency, he appointed judges to the supreme court to overturn Roe vs. Wade, making women’s rights to choose more and more difficult.
- Trump is 78 years old, the oldest person to run for president and he will not give public reports about his health. Kamala is 59 years old and recently shared a healthy report from her doctors.
- Trump also has very bad plans for the country and economy and said that he wants to make large tax cuts. Kamala has a ton of plans for the country that she believes will really help the people that are middle class and low income. One of her plans is the economic plan, which includes lowering taxes for the middle class. Her mom wanted to become a scientist at age 19 and it took her a long time to get their first house. Kamala was 17 years old when it happened. This affected her a lot and made her care about the middle class. “They will do this by restoring two tax cuts designed to help middle class and working Americans: the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit.”
- Kamala got to where she is in life all by herself with no help and she learned that if you want something in life you have to work hard to get there. Life never really gives you the easy way to get somewhere. Here are some of her jobs that she had in the past: she started her career as a district attorney, first head of city, then she became the attorney general for all of California, then became Senator, then Vice President.
This is why I think we should vote for Kamala.
