Step 1: In the morning, I freshen up my face with a cotton round and some water to take the residue off my face from my night routine skin care. If I don’t do my skincare the night before, I usually like to add a tiny bit of moisturizer to my face in the morning and let it fully dry.
Step 2: I start with my eyebrows because they take the longest in my routine. I use a black eyeshadow from an Anastasia Beverly Hills pallet to fill them in. Carve them out with concealer to your desired shape.
Step 3: I mix my two foundations which are from Two Faced Born This Way and Makeup by Mario. If I want more hydration or glowy look I add the Halo Glow by Elf. I apply it as if I were painting a canvas.
Step 4: For concealer I like to use the Nars Matte Concealer. It’s pretty dry but it has very full converge, so I like to add the L’Oreal Infallible Concealer and mix it together.
Step 5: Next, I contour and bronze. I contour my nose with the NYX 2-in-1 Stick and bronze with the Elf Halo Glow contour. Then I blend everything with a brush.
Step 6: Now to set all of the base makeup, I use a mix of the Wet n’ Wild Banana Translucent Powder and Elf Halo Glow powders. Try to apply the powder all over the face, focused on your T-zone and under the eyes.
Step 7: At this stage, I’ll go back in to reinforce my bronzer and contour because the powder can wash out all of the color. I use powdered bronzer and contour to reinforce and I love the L’Oreal Infallible 24h Fresh Wear Bronzer. I use powder blush after, any should do.
Step 8: Then for lip liner, I like the brown shades. The shade Chain Reaction from Colorpop is probably my favorite.
Step 9: To finish it off, a good setting spray is key, so I use the Milani Make It Last Clear Spray. Make sure to let it fully dry before moving on.
Step 10: My final step is to apply the L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara and my favorite pair of lashes.
This is an example of an everyday makeup routine that works for me. I learned best from watching tutorials, doing my makeup everyday, and trying new products.
It’s important to practice and find what techniques work for your face, as it could be different.
