This is a tutorial on how to make a rose out of ribbon. You can make one for a special event or just because you want to give them a meaningful gift. You can use this for a bouquet for your mom or someone special in your life, especially since it’s handmade with love. Who doesn’t like flowers?
Things you need:
- Ribbon
- Card
- Glue gun
- Lighter
- Skewers
Prep things before starting. You want to cut your ribbon the size of a credit card and make 15 pieces. Then, you want to grab your lighter and start assembling your petals.
Petal:
Step 1: Fold into a triangle on one side
Step 2: Grab the corner inward as shown.
Step 3: Repeat on the other side
Step 4: Use your lighter to ONLY burn the button to seal it (you can also use hot glue or any good glue for a safer option).
Boom! The first petal is done. Now do it 14 more times.
After completing your 15 petals, you’re going to glue them together.
Apply glue on one side and continue doing it.
It should end up looking like a little snake.
Once you have your “snake”, you want to grab a skewer and start making your rose.
Step 1: Put glue on your skewer and the bottom of some of your petals.
Step 2: Start rotating it.
Tada! You made a rose.
You can continue to make more roses after building up to a bouquet.
