Good Old Morning Due

Good Old Morning Due
Lizbeth Lopez

Morning Due is an affordable cafe where you get greeted by the owners and their personal staff members. Their staff members are always having a good time and are happy to see you. If you’d like to visit, you can find Morning Due on 3698 17th St, San Francisco, CA 94114. Morning Due is right across from Mission High. You can walk to the cafe, or, it’s a quick walk from Dolores Park.

Once you get there, walk up to the counter, order, and take a seat. While you wait for your food to come out, you get the option to sit where you want; either near the window or outside enjoying the breeze. Perhaps you feel tired and want to sit in one of the lounges, where you can feel relaxed. They then bring out your food by placing it on the table and tell you a simple, “Enjoy.’’

You would think that Morning Due, by name, sounds expensive or not a good place to eat, but I disagree. A good experience is more about the type of service and food they offer.

My go-to order would be a small side of fries which costs about $5.75, and an Italian soda that’s $3.50. With their Italian sodas, you get to pick a certain syrup and flavor you would like for your drink. My favorite syrup is mango! You could also grab other things like a $16.25 hamburger, a $14.95 chicken wrap, or maybe some Belgian waffles for $12.25.

Some good things about Morning Due are not only the customer service, but people can enjoy their meal there or order and get takeout to go. The food is very good and there are menu options that are very big.

Another thing to consider is that there are times where you’re in a hurry. They won’t be able to serve you fast because they’re always busy. Their normal hours are 7:30am to 3:00pm, seven days a week.

Overall, Morning Due is the right place to enjoy a good time with great service.
