Dolores Park Café Has Something for Everyone

A toasted bagel and Thai iced tea from Dolores Park Café (Natalie Ramirez)

As a Mission High School student, you must know about Dolores Park Café, located at 18th and Dolores Streets and open daily from 7am-5pm.

When I can’t make food at home, I remember there’s a restaurant right across from Mission High School. They sell the most delicious sweets such as warm, delicious chocolate chip cookies, cheese danishes with raspberry filling, banana bread, and more. Their hot chocolate is perfect and comes with whipped cream and a hint of cocoa powder, which makes it even more enjoyable especially with foggy San Francisco weather.

The vibes are great at this café, since everybody who works there is kind. In particular, the baristas are super nice and they make you feel welcome. For example, the baristas start a conversation with you and ask you how your day is going.

The café has a variety of drinks to choose from, in case hot chocolate isn’t your cup of tea. They also sell Thai iced tea that you can enjoy with a warm and toasty bagel. They also have a collection of different coffee flavors and syrups such as vanilla, mocha, and caramel.

The highly-recommended Kale Crush Smoothie (Natalie Ramirez)

Their Kale Crush Smoothie has to go down as one of my top favorite beverages, priced at nine dollars. It’s made with kale, almond butter, banana, almonds, and milk.  It’s one of the yummiest smoothies I have ever had.

A made-to-order toasted ham and cheese croissant is just ten dollars.

You’ll be so satisfied with everything. There’s always tables available inside and outside to take a seat and enjoy your meal with the nicest view of Dolores Park as well.
