How to Play Soccer

Today I will talk about football, also called soccer.

The official date of the birth of football is 1848.

Scotsman Fergus Suter was the first professional player in the history of football, or at least that’s how he is considered. In his native Glasgow, he played football for Partick while also working as a bricklayer.

On October 24, 1857, Nathaniel Creswick and William Perst wrote the founding charter of the first football club in history and formed the Sheffield Football Club.

The 1930 FIFA World Cup was the first FIFA World Cup, the world championship for men’s national football teams.

The first cup competition was organized in 1930 by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and was won by Uruguay.

Uruguay was the first team to win a soccer World Cup in the world, but it is not the country that has won the most World Cups. Currently Brazil has won five World Cups and is positioned in first place, being the team that has won the most World Cups in the history of football.

As time went by, teams were formed in each country, on each continent on planet Earth. But the most relevant are in Europe since the Champions League is played in Europe, where the powerful Real Madrid is the team that has won the most championships. Around the years they have had fourteen champions and many call them the kings of Europe.

Also on the American continent, there are very good teams, both countries and leagues. The most relevant are Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina, but this does not mean that there are not good teams in other countries such as Costa Rica, Peru, and Chile within America. Tournaments like the Copa America are played where countries like Mexico, the United States, Brazil, and Argentina participate.

In Mexico, there are very relevant teams such as Las Chivas, El America, Monterrey, and Cruz Azul.

In the United States, there are good teams like Inter Miami FC, La Galaxy, Los Angeles FC, and New York City. Also, our Mission High School has women’s and men’s soccer teams and the players are very good and fast. At Mission High School and in all the schools in San Francisco, soccer tournaments are held where different schools participate with very good players in very good physical condition.

Soccer is a passion because ever since you were little, your dad or some uncle would teach you about soccer and the teams. However, not in all cases would you support the same team as them since from your point of view you see better and more relevant teams. Everyone has a favorite player. My favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo with five champions and five Ballon d’Ors. But you can root for the team and player you want, such as Messi, Neymar, or Benzema.

In conclusion, soccer is a sport of heart, passion, and intensity since you can root for the team and player you want.
